Well, kittens, I haven't been pawing at all lately!

Perhaps I am paying too much attention to my ball of string and my scratching post!

I don't know. All I'm gonna say is things can go really awry if there isn't good communication.

And isn't that what all these goo-gahs are for? Communication? Well, take my son.

He's 18, almost 19. Has his own place. Pays his phone bill when he can to me because we are still on the same plan. He gave me his half and well I didn't get my half in time because I'm a poor little kitty and do not have ready cash at will as he does. So, I was unable to make the bill payment on time and we lost service - for a DAY.

He emailed me. He msged me on Face Book. He wrote on my wall, for everyone to see, how I "stole his money and used it on herself! People like you are just..." somethingorother.

Started a fight, brought the family into it, suddenly I am a pariah-kitty.

He is still not speaking to me.

Says I've done this before. Nooo... that was your FATHER.

Well. That's all I have to say about THAT.

Well, Kittens!

Time for your first feeding! Aren't you ever so lucky!

I certainly hope this comes out OK. My first blog post on my first blog.

But that's blah blah blog blog stuff. You don't care about that! You want the meat, the catnip!

So, I'm using my laptop, tethered to my phone thanks to my son the gadget/computer whiz! I'm so lucky. Picture me as kind of Hello Kitty only like the Japanese Good Luck Cat with its paw up. Yes, I'm blonde.

Now that all that blonde-hair-green-eyes thing is out of the way, I can relate some meaningful crap.

1. I love MUSIC! My favourite bands include oldies like The Beatles (John), Stones, Doors, Jimi - all the usual suspects. I also enjoy obscure vintage stuff like 13th Floor Elevators and the Velvet Underground. Patti Smith is my female hero, and Lennon is my male. DO YOU HEAR ME!? MY male! //;-)

Other groups more current are Muse, Death Cab, The Decemberists, Scissor Sisters, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Boat, Blitzentrapper, of course Modest Mouse, and a host of other indie bands.

I started my music "career" in 1978 as a Mod Punk Rocker, the first Punk band I ever saw was The Ramones - and I never went back! I KNEW there had to be a cure for Foreigner, Styxx, Boston, Supertramp & the like! And there it was.

I've seen literally thousands of shows, and I live in Seattle so many of my friends were catapulted to fame in the '90s.

Enough about music.

2. I love cats! I have 2, both rescuees. One is a 16lb grey tabby & the other is a tiny black female with the softest fur EVER. Jinx, the tabby, jumped out of a 2nd story window to get away from his owners. Mama, the lovely lady, was being beaten on a regular basis by a thug with his wallet chain. So, of course she came to live with us. It took about 2 years to get her comfortable with us but it was worth it.

3. I have 2 sons! One is 18 and on his own, and the other is 15 and still at home.

They are intelligent and have great senses of humour, nothing better than a good pun or turn of a phrase. My eldest is a computer/gadget/car nut, and when he was little we used to go to many car shows, where the owners of these sometimes one-of-a-kind cars would let him sit in them - he was so careful.

Youngest loves Anime, and wants to go into design. We're gonna try to make that happen!

4. I have a Boyfriend! 10 years on July 19th! Amazing.

I'm divorced but still pals with my ex.

My BF is awesome, 6'4" and a big Leo cat!

Oh - I'm an Aries.
